Alors si l’on parle de mélange de styles, nous avons ici des experts en la matière. Dès les premières mesures j’ai retrouvé l’univers de Gong en plus modéré dans le délire, quoique… la voix féminine aidant (celle de Marie-Catherine Mossé), on ne quitte pas leur planète délirante, frisant parfois le dissonant mais sans jamais franchir le pas. Un saxo allumé complète le trip ajoutant une touche jazzy. Le trip est savoureux ! Ecoutez cette plage atmosphérique aux nuances magiques et rêveuse : Bassékilendo.
Surprenant et toujours proche de l’univers de Gong. Le trip se poursuit dans la même veine. Saxo langoureux avec des soubresauts jazz atmosphériques, récitatifs poétiques déclinés par la voix féminine envoûtante de Marie-Catherine, tout est immergeant dans leur univers conceptuel presque expérimental aux teintes psychédéliques. Post-Crash est un premier album qui ne peut laisser indifférent tant l’imaginaire qu’il contient est riche et subtil. J’ai parfois eu aussi l’impression de retrouver des démarches chères à Steve Reich dans la haut (sic !) qui flirte avec le courant dit contemporain et finit par un long silence propice à méditer la portée de cette création. C’est sans doute l’album le plus original du trimestre.
